The individual exhibits maladaptive health behaviours that adversely affect the manifestation, treatment, or course of a disorder or disease classified in another chapter (e.g., overeating, lack of exercise).
Diagnostic Criteria
- The general diagnostic requirements for Psychological or Behavioural Factors Affecting Disorders or Diseases Classified Elsewhere (6E40) are met.
- The presence of maladaptive health behaviours that adversely affect the manifestation, treatment, or course of a disorder or disease classified in another chapter (e.g., overeating, lack of exercise).
