Acquired hypoganglionosis of large intestine

Definition

Acquired hypoganglionosis is characterised as a degeneration of ganglion cells and gliosis histologically. The prognosis is usually good following resection of the affected bowel.

• Congenital hypoganglionosis of large intestine
