Definition

This is a group of conditions characterised as being in or associated with the biliary tract, the passageway for bile, which are not classified elsewhere.

Exclusions

• Malignant neoplasms of hepatobiliary system
• Carcinoma in situ of gallbladder, biliary tract or ampulla of Vater
• Benign neoplasm of gallbladder, extrahepatic bile ducts or ampulla of Vater
